Description:
Geographers Farhana Sultana and Edward Carr are among the authors participating in the new anthology Not Too Late: Changing the Climate Story from Despair to Possibility. Co-edited by this year’s AAG Honorary Geographer Rebecca Solnit and Thelma Young Lutunatabua, Not Too Late is a choral work by people dedicating their lives to climate action. Countering the grim narratives of irrevocable loss and destruction, the authors in this anthology are scientists, activists and organizers, attorneys, poets, and others dedicated to safeguarding the earth and its residents.
Join Solnit, Sultana, and Carr to bear witness to the value of hope and collective action to safeguard the planet’s future.
There will be a book signing after the session, and Boulder Book Store will be on hand to sell selected titles by Ms. Solnit.
