Abstract
In 2016, the Western Illinois GIS Center published its first county road atlas. It was requested by Schuyler County, Illinois as part of their recent rural addressing for 9-1-1. Since then, the Center has produced several more atlases for counties and the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation. This poster will cover the evolution of this particular type road atlas, intended to facilitate emergency responders who work in predominantly rural areas.
