This session intends to support international graduate students and recent graduates in the U.S., and discuss two main related topics:
1. U.S. graduate school guidance (mini-topics include but are not limited to: international life and research experience, strategies in speaking/writing/teaching in English, guidelines for graduate assistant, coping with xenophobia/racism, seeking mentorship and peer support, engaging in communities such AAG.)
2. U.S. job market navigation (mini-topics include but are not limited to: understanding the H1-B visa, strategies in the academic and non-academic job search, and establishing a network for career growth.)
