Description:
This session will focus on the experiences of women in academic careers in geography. The field of geography has historically been comprised largely of men. For women in geography, this can often be an obstacle to thriving, advancing, and being respected in their work. Our panelists will share their experiences as women in geography to create a space of solidarity, support, and empowerment for attendees at any stage of their education and career. Join us for a meaningful discussion and come with your questions.
