Description:
Throughout his long career as a geographer, Yi-Fu Tuan published in a number of outlets, but none more so than in the Geographical Review. Fittingly, this session will be used to commemorate the work of Yi-Fu Tuan and especially his relationship with the Geographical Review over the course of thirty years between 1968 and 2002. We have assembled panelists who will discuss the influence of Tuan on their research and teaching.
This panel will conclude with the presentation of the Wrigley-Fairchild Best Paper Award for 2022 and will be followed by the Geographical Review Reception.
