Description:
Research on human-environment interaction, biodiversity forecasts, and ecosystem conservation all utilize a geographic information system (GIS) of systems approach for modeling and analyzing inherently interconnected dynamic phenomena. Changing climate is exerting substantial stress on on cities and natural ecosystem. Despite the thematic differences in ecosystem conversation and sustainable design, growing literature on common general frameworks utilizing geospatial artificial intelligence (GeoAI) exists. This session is calling for presentations on the overarching research themes related to ecosystem conservation and sustainable geodesign.
