Description
During recent years, advanced cyberinfrastructure that is powered by high-performance computing and data storage systems, as well as advanced instrumentation and visualization tools, has enabled the development of new approaches to spatial decision making. Recent advances in geospatial artificial intelligence, spatial analysis, and modeling have the potential to add a cyberinfrastructure-enabled analytical core that will enhance existing decision support capabilities. Such environments can be used to evaluate alternative solutions to complex decision problems that continue to emerge as a consequence of geospatially heterogeneous and interdependent changes that are occurring across the globe.
We welcome high-quality contributions that propose solutions and approaches in the domain of the following topics:
- CyberGIS and topographic information
- Flood modeling and disaster response
- Open source decision support system
- Spatiotemporal uncertainty in decision making
- Decision technologies as services
- Web-based and cloud-based spatial decision support systems
- Ontology and knowledge graph
- Automated scientific workflow generation
- Real-time decision making
- GeoAI enabled spatial decision making
- Human-centered spatial decision support
- Applications in smart cities, disaster response, geodesign and urban planning
- Decision support systems for emergency management
- Social media uses in decision support systems
- Geovisualization for spatial decision making
