The urban system consists of the interplay between the transportation, land use, and other components of cities that shape a variety of social, environmental, and economic outcomes. This session presents a collection of papers that employ spatial analytical methods and modelling to advance our understanding of different aspects of the urban system, including transport accessibility, housing and real estate, and urban growth and change.
