Abstract
This study analyzed statistically-significant spatial clusters of democratic vs. republican counties from 2000-2020 presidential election results to draw conclusions of the spatial patterns and temporal trends of the political views of Americans. The results provide insight for investigating the underlying factors contributing to the spatial patterns and temporal trends. The findings are also useful for strategy and resources planning for the coming presidential election by either party.
