Abstract
The Global Ecobrick Alliance is a non-profit organization that promotes the creation of ecobricks, a solution to single-use plastic waste. Ecobricks are plastic PET bottles packed with used single-use plastic that can be used as a building block, similar to a brick. This prevents plastic waste from entering the biosphere. Information on the Global Ecobrick Alliance and the organization's regenerative principles will be discussed. I will present a student's perspective towards this plastic waste solution and implementation on campus. Frostburg State University’s ecobrick clubs' work and outreach will be presented.
