Abstract
Preliminary abstract: Traffic jams are a very normal part of every commuter’s daily life. With climate change in mind, reduction of traffic and CO2 emission would be an important step to reduce the greenhouse effect. This poster aims to introduce corporate mobility management (CMM), its definition, its process, and measures as it is seen in German literature. Laws and regulations and their effect on the CMM measures will be identified and presented in the poster. The findings show that the CMM measures can be used as a tool to change an individual’s mobility behavior concerning commuting and reduce traffic. The measures are aimed at traffic with combustion engines. Besides push- and pull-measures also infrastructure measures are being implemented such as bus lanes to offer alternative types of transport. The analysis of the laws and regulations shows that the implementation and effectiveness of CCM measures can be influenced in a negative as well as a positive way.
